2003 CQ World Wide CW Contest
Well, the weekend came and went and a busy time it was!
There were 60 contacts made on 4 bands in about 3 hours total operating time, two hours Saturday night and another hour or so on Sunday AM...
The results were exhilarating.
Larry was able to show up during the scheduled operating times. He seemed to enjoy the "demonstration" of the K4FAU CW ability!
Conditions seemed excellent and 10m was a real surprise with very strong signals from all over the world coming in Sunday late morning.
The class for entry was adjusted to SINGLE OPERATOR ASSISTED LOW POWER. The ASSISTED means the packet cluster telnet interface was turned on from within N1MM, even though I personally tend not to use it... LOW POWER, as we never got the AMP keying interface sorted out... I think I have a line on the din connector.
The station is ripe with potential for many more contacts - Looking forward to helping in whatever way I can to help realize some of this latent potential...
Lastly, thank you to Hank, for allowing me to join this great group of people and for providing a station that is truly a wonderful resource, it is much appreciated!!
