Hi All,

Hank asked me to send out this email.

Sunday April 14th will be 22nd annual FAU wellness triathlon
(http://www.fau.edu/wellness/triathlon/).
Our help as Amateur Radio operators is very appreciated and we were
asked to help again.
The race starts at 7:00 AM and depending on your assignment you will
need to be at your post at 6:30 AM at the latest. We should all be
done by 1PM.

Hank would also like everybody to know that FAU PD has approved the
use of Parking Garage II for Field Day (June 22-23).

Lastly I would like to congratulate the West Palm Beach Amateur Radio
Group, W4HAW, for being selected as the Dayton Hamvention 2013 Club of
the Year. They are only the 4th club in the 61 year history of the
Dayton Hamvention to receive this (international) honor. The awards
chairman Michael Kalter, W8CI, said that they excelled in every one of
the judged criteria and made special note of their work with the South
Florida Science Museum, youth recruitment, their large ARISS contact,
training classes and excellent media coverage. (paraphrasing Tom,
AJ4XM).
In his email Tom, AJ4XM also mentioned the great cooperation between
clubs in Palm Beach County.
