Hi All,

As a reminder tomorrow will be our February K4FAU meeting at noon at T6.
I will have a work meeting before our meeting so I will be a bit late but I hope someone can be there early as I expect some students to come.

Some items of interest / to discuss:

-          This week is the School club roundup. http://www.arrl.org/school-club-roundup Whoever is at T6 first, please turn on the radio and get on the air! (swing the antenna a bit NNW) When students show up, elmer them and get them behind the mike! (keep a log)

-          Engineering week is February 22nd to 26th. http://public.eng.fau.edu/tsg/temp/Eweek-Schedule-Feb-2016.pdf I'm hoping we can borrow CU-5 (SU-50?) from the fire department and setup a demo station Monday February 22nd next to the Engineering building. We can use some volunteers to show off our great hobby. I will also need a volunteer to join me and show off our club at the kick-off event at Traditions plaza between 11AM and 1PM.

-          Field Day is coming up again. http://www.arrl.org/field-day It looks like BRARA is going to run FD from their shack at West Delray Regional Park. Several people have shown interest for us to have our own FD here on campus. We need to know if we have enough interest, so if you can join us for our own K4FAU Field Day please email me at wvandam at fau.edu<mailto:wvandam at fau.edu>
