Hi All,


At this time we have the following events on the calendar for our club for the Fall semester:

- TBD Tower repair "party". Location: T6
    Our tower at our shack at T6 needs to have some of the hardware replaced. As soon as the replacement parts come in we will schedule a Tower repair "party".

- September 13 K4FAU club meeting. Location: T6
    Wednesday September 13th at noon we will have our monthly meeting at T6. There will be hotdogs!

- September 13 FCC test session. Location: T6
    Wednesday September 13th at 1PM we will organize a FCC test session (if there is enough interest). This session is put on by a team from Laurel VE so it is FREE!

- October 10 K4FAU club meeting. Location: T6
    Wednesday October 10th at noon we will have our monthly meeting at T6. There will be hotdogs!

- October 10 FCC test session. Location: T6
    Wednesday October 10th at 1PM we will organize a FCC test session (if there is enough interest). This session is put on by a team from Laurel VE so it is FREE!

- October 16-20 ARRL School Club Roundup. Location: T6 and or EE530
    We plan to participate in the School Club Roundup to see how we measure up to other College Amateur Radio clubs http://www.arrl.org/school-club-roundup

- October 20-22 Jamboree On The Air. Location: Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation, Tequesta and possibly T6
    A couple of our members are going to Tanah Keeta to demonstrate Amateur Radio to the Scouts and participate in JOTA http://www.scouting.org/jota.aspx
    Plans are in the works to have some Scouts that can not go to Tanah Keeta come to T6 and participate from our shack there.

- November 8 K4FAU club meeting. Location: T6
    Wednesday November 8th at noon we will have our monthly meeting at T6. There will be hotdogs!

- November 8 FCC test session. Location: T6
    Wednesday November 8th at 1PM we will organize a FCC test session (if there is enough interest). This session is put on by a team from Laurel VE so it is FREE!

- November 18-20 ARRL Sweepstakes. Location: T6
    The ARRL Sweepstakes contest has a category for School Clubs. In the past we have won this category for our section several times! http://www.arrl.org/sweepstakes

- December 2nd
    Last day of class!

- December 9-10 ARRL 10 Meter Contest. Location T6
    If there is interest we can consider participating in the 10 Meter contest. http://www.arrl.org/10-meter
